I was introduced to this great artist by someone I met by chance last year ... I will always be thankful for this! Eddie Vedder - the lead vocalist and one of the three guitarist in the iconic music group - Pearl Jam. There is this special earthiness in his voice, a rustic spirit, which touches your heart. This song here is called 'Rise'.

Ok ... this one, I've discovered today. Siddharth did a superb job in the movie 'Striker'; this song sounds like so many songs, but has beautiful lyrics - aur phir yun hua
So how many of you have heard this one - 'Lemon tree' by Fools garden... have a hear
Another one which I really really like is - Time of your life by Green day ....
'It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had a time of your life'
Now this next one is one of my all time favorites, a bangla song: Rabindra Sangeet - 'boro asha kore eshechi go kachhe deke naav' .. the beauty lies in it's simplicity...
And this one's from a telegu movie 'Happy Days' which is truly about the happiest days of our lives - the college days of carefree bliss, a time we forever miss ... Hmm so this one's a very fresh song.. called arey re, arey re, manase ja re...
